I’ve decided that this is the year to get more involved in blogging (or whatever you call this thing). This site has been pretty much dormant for a couple of years. It always seemed like such a hassle, you know? First I’d type up a review and post it on the store page of whatever it is I’m whining about. Then, I would copy it, find images, format everything, set up sharing to my socials, and post it here, too. This page has always seemed like an unnecessary (and laborious) extra step in my review process.
So that’s why I’m not going to post reviews on here anymore. If anyone’s interested in reading them, I’ll leave prominent links to my Steam and Goodreads pages somewhere on here.
Instead, I’m going to be using this for longer-form think pieces. I’ve got a lot of dumb thoughts on dumb things and just kind of let them bang around in my head because I didn’t have anywhere to put them… At least, I thought I didn’t. But one day, I had a eureka moment! I remembered this website that I’ve been shelling out cash for for years that just kind of sits there and takes up space on the internet. I could be using it for venting or brainstorming or anything I could ever dream of! (Mostly I just dream about a place where I can endlessly shit on fishing minigames until my last breath comes rasping out of my decrepit lungs. More on that soon!)
Anyway, I don’t think that anyone will see this or, if they do, that they will care. I just thought it would be good to put out a sort of “state of the blog” or “mission statement” post. If you see this and think that this stuff sounds like your cup of tea, then give me a follow or something. My links will be around here somewhere. If this doesn’t sound like something you would be interested in… well, I don’t know how to help you. You should go away now.
